Raised in Seoul and shaped by years as a guitarist, Hakim brings a musician’s sensibility to the booth: attentive to tone, tension, and timing, with a natural feel for phrasing and release. His sets are defined by unexpected cuts and witty, seamless transitions that add a quiet but palpable heat to the floor—always nudging dancers toward the next scene.
