New Delhi-based Monophonik channels the fluid unpredictability of synth-driven electronic music. A modular live act with an ear for acid, breaks, techno, and trance, his performances unfold in real time, creating an unrepeatable synergy of hardware experimentation and instincts. Shaped by harmonic interplay and resonant timbres, each set is a dynamic exploration of tension and release, structure and chaos—an ephemeral moment sculpted in real time, dissolving as soon as it is created. Rooted in modular synthesis, his performances strip electronic music down to its rawest elements: shifting patterns, evolving timbres, and percussive momentum. With a fully hardware-based setup—modular synthesizers, drum machines, and sequencers—each show becomes a unique dialogue between machine and human intuition, responding to the energy of the room. Blending India’s rhythmic heritage with a global club sensibility, Monophonik has become one of the country’s most forward-thinking live acts. His modular performances have landed on festival stages including Transmissions From Hackney (UK), Wonderfruit (Thailand), Equation (Vietnam), Magnetic Fields Festival, Lollapalooza India and Mixmag Lab. His recent club appearances stretch across clubs like FOLD, Macadam, Pawnshop and Savage—pushing his sound further into uncharted territory.
