Innerworld is the alter ego of Goan DJ and producer Akshay Mathker, shaped by the spirit of rave culture. Blurring the lines between ambient, deep techno, halftime, and other leftfield dancefloor energies, Innerworld is less about genre and more about evoking a state—a meditative, hypnotic rhythm designed to move both body and psyche. It's a project rooted in exploration: of sound, of space, and of collective experience. The project gained early attention with releases such as Vibrations, his debut EP on Qilla Records and Vimana on Mana Abundance. In 2024 and continuing into 2025, Innerworld has released a series of singles—including Nirvana on Tech Lab (based in Budapest) and Sonic Shaman on Aneelhi Records (based in Georgia)—with more still to come on respected labels worldwide. Innerworld brings a deep and thought provoking sound philosophy to the stage—recently performing at Asia’s iconic Wonderfruit Festival on the 428 stage, and sharing lineups with legendary artists such as Wata Igarashi, Aurora Halal, Sunju Hargun, Occa, and more. Each performance is crafted as a ritual experience—immersive, emotional, and tightly woven to shift energy on the dance floor. Innerworld is also the driving force behind LFO, a niche event platform that has hosted intimate, underground gatherings for the past three years. After a brief hiatus, LFO returns, continuing its mission to offer unfiltered, high-fidelity dance floor experiences rooted in sonic depth and artistic freedom.
