comm is a Producer / DJ based in Tokyo. Inspired by Dubstep, Leftfield Bass, and Techno, comm expresses unique rhythms and melodies that draw listeners into a ritualistic atmosphere. She began producing music with the intention of creating sounds for people who have grown tired of sex. With her distinctive sounds and play style, comm aims to guide listeners to an unknown but addictive space, one has never been to before. Her tracks have been supported by artists from various countries, reflecting her growing international presence. Having performed at leading Japanese rave/party collectives including Future Terror and Rivers, she continues to appear at renowned raves and club parties internationally. She has also provided music for renowned strip shows and fashion brands. In 2025, her mix was selected as RA Mix of the Day, further highlighting her distinctive sound and vision. comm also runs her own label, Synvision Sounds. The term "Synvision," coined by comm, refers to "a phantom vision generated by a non-existent system," "a sight that can only be experienced through music," and "a perspective that crosses the boundary between fiction and reality." This vision aligns with the theme of "Vision and Perception" explored in her Parallax EP, extending the enigmatic world she continues to create through sound.
