Liga Stonewall is an LGBTQ+ friendly soccer league based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, founded to provide the community with a safe, inclusive space to play without fear of discrimination . The league, led by President Karen Quezada and Director Quetzal Ayala, consists of multiple teams (six teams as of 2021) whose members include lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and gender-fluid players .

Guadalajara is one of Mexico's gay capitals, with Zona Rosa/Chapultepec and Centro Histórico hosting 50+ LGBTQ+ businesses, cantinas, clubs, and bathhouses. The Marcha del Orgullo and Pride Week in June draw around 100,000; Jalisco has marriage equality and a Director of Sexual Diversity.
