Families across Florida are taking a simple pledge: Read one LGBTQ+ affirming book. Reading inclusive stories helps LGBTQ+ youth feel seen, valued, and safe. This helps all children grow in empathy and understanding. In a moment when these stories are being challenged, choosing to read them is an act of love and visibility. Read at home. Before bed. On the couch. Then post using the hashtag #NationalDayofReading and tag Equality Florida and Human Rights Campaign on any social media platform.
