Colorado Frontrunners is a long-established LGBTQ+ running and walking club. They host weekly group runs in Denver (and Boulder), and they welcome runners/walkers of all abilities – in short, "runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome" .

Colorado Rush RFC is Denver’s gay-inclusive rugby club. Founded in 2010, its mission is to provide competitive rugby for Greater Denver’s LGBTQIA+ community and allies. The club emphasizes inclusivity and community, aiming to promote respect and positive self-image through the sport .

Denver Lesbian Golfers is a social golf club for lesbian and queer women in the Denver area. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome, and events include lessons, driving range sessions, 3-hole par-3 rounds and 18-hole outings at courses across Colorado .

GDASA Softball is described as "Colorado's premiere LGBTQ+ softball league" . It aims to build community as well as softball skills, encouraging players of all levels to enjoy competition and camaraderie. The league explicitly welcomes newcomers and experienced players alike .

OutLoud Sports Denver runs a recreational bowling league (e.g. 10-week winter season) where teams of four compete. The league explicitly welcomes players of all levels and uses handicaps to level the field – in other words "everyone is welcome... regardless of... experience or sexuality" .
