This event is a weekly discussion group facilitated by a staff member from West of 50, focusing on dismantling sexual misconceptions and exploring evidence-based topics to help older adults engage in positive sexuality. Participants will examine and potentially revise their learned 'sexual scripts,' explore non-penetrative sexual activities, and discuss topics such as sexual decisions, intimacy, safety, and sexuality in aging, disability, and chronic illness. The sessions aim to promote a sex-positive perspective and provide a supportive environment for older adults to rediscover intimacy.
