Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade

Description

The 28th annual Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade takes place on October 31st, 2025, in Chicago’s Northalsted neighborhood. The parade is free to watch and features a spectacular Costume Contest with hundreds of entrants competing for over $4,000 in cash prizes across five categories: Character, Creative, Scary, Youth, and Group. The event includes performances by fire performers, marching bands, and pep squads, with the parade starting at Halsted & Belmont at 6:30 PM and ending at Halsted & Brompton around 8:00 PM. An awards presentation follows, with an after-party at 3514 N. Halsted. Participants and spectators of all ages are welcome, and pets are allowed to march or watch. The parade proceeds rain or shine.
