Queer Book Club

About this event

The Queer Book Club is a space for like-minded individuals to read and discuss works by queer authors, including classics and recent publications. The sessions are hosted by Looi van Kessel, an expert in LGBTQIA+ literature, and are conducted in English. The club features discussions on various themes such as coming out, love, and surviving bigotry, fostering thoughtful conversations and personal sharing. Upcoming sessions include readings of novels like 'People in Trouble' by Sarah Schulman, 'In the Spider’s Room' by Muhammad Abdelnabi, 'Nova Scotia House' by Charlie Porter, and others, held at Dok B in the Centrale Bibliotheek, Den Haag.
