5Badminton: BLAGSS
BLAGSS Badminton is a mixed-ability doubles club in Brighton. The group welcomes players of all skill levels (from experienced to those who haven’t played for years) and meets Tuesdays 7:30–9:30pm at Brighton Girls School . Typically about 16 players turn up each week, and players are constantly rotated to ensure fun matches for everyone .
Netball: BLAGSS Netball
BLAGSS Netball offers LGBTQ+ women and allies a friendly, non-competitive environment to play (or re-learn) netball . It aims to be welcoming to returning players (even those who haven’t played for years) and emphasizes not being intimidated by skills level . Currently there is no regular organizer, so interested players are invited to contact BLAGSS to help restart sessions.

OutdoorLads is a UK-wide LGBTQ+ adventure group focusing on outdoor activities . It organizes hikes, climbs, camping trips, cycling rides, kayaking, sailing, running and more across Brighton and the UK. Membership is open to gay, bisexual, trans and queer men (and their allies), and events range from easy outings to challenging expeditions, aiming to improve members’ wellbeing through nature .

BLAGSS Running holds varied weekly running sessions in Brighton combining jogging, sprinting, hills and core exercises . The workouts are tailored so that everyone can work at their own level, from complete beginners (even couch-to-5K) to keen runners looking to improve speed and confidence . The group is friendly and welcoming, ending each session with a social drink and cake gathering .
Running: Brighton & Hove Rainbow Run
Brighton & Hove Rainbow Run is an annual 5K event held at the start of Pride weekend in Hove Park . Open to LGBTQ+ participants and allies, it raises funds for charities (2025’s charity is Allsorts Youth Project) and celebrates Pride. The run is non-competitive and united by Pride spirit .
