8A Queer Endeavor
A research and professional development initiative at the University of Colorado Boulder providing education and training for teachers and school administrators on LGBTQ+-inclusive practices in schools. Works to create more affirming educational environments for LGBTQ+ students throughout Colorado.
Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP)
Provides education and support services for people living with or at risk for HIV and AIDS in Boulder County. Offers testing, prevention resources, case management, and community education serving the LGBTQ+ community and broader population since 1985.
Boulder Queer Dharma
A meditation and spiritual community group meeting monthly in Boulder for LGBTQ+ individuals. Provides a forum to study and practice meditation and Dharma, as well as to contemplate and discuss topics relating to LGBTQ+ identity and spirituality in a supportive setting.
Boulder Valley Safe Schools Coalition
A volunteer group of community members, family members, organizations, teachers, and students who advocate for LGBTQ+ affirming policies and practices in Boulder Valley School District (BVSD). Works to make schools safe and welcoming for LGBTQ+ students, parents, and staff.
CU Boulder Gender and Sexuality Center
The tri-institutional LGBTQ+ resource center serving students at CU Boulder, CU Denver, and Community College of Denver on the Auraria campus. Colorado's first campus LGBTQ+ support organization (founded 1992), offering identity-based events, a 2,000+ book library, social space, counseling referrals, and educational programming.
OASOS (Open and Affirming Support Program)
The Open and Affirming Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Support Program provides support to LGBTQ+ youth, educators, and families in Boulder County through social support groups, the Youth Advocating for Change (YAC) leadership group, and school-based services promoting safe and affirming environments.
Rocky Mountain Equality
Formerly Out Boulder County, Rocky Mountain Equality has been supporting LGBTQ+ communities since 1994. Provides advocacy, education, research, cultural events, youth programs, trans support groups, community cafes, behavioral health services, and responsive programming reaching 15,000+ people annually across Colorado. Operates the Equality Center in Boulder.
Women's Wilderness
A Boulder-based nonprofit supporting girls, women, and LGBTQ+ people in accessing their power and improving their health through connections to the outdoors and community. Offers outdoor adventure programs, leadership development, and nature-based experiences that foster empowerment and belonging.
