About this event
BRag Kultur is a collective formed by drag artists of the Brazilian diaspora in Berlin. It’s a bragging and brega celebration of our culture, mixing with international references and translating it to the international audiences at the same it captivates the Brazilian audiences through music, memes, folklore and deep references only those who know, will know - and appreciate it even more so. Watching a BRag Kultur show makes the audience wonder is it a show? a novela? a band? a political party? a movement? a ministry?… It is all of that wrapped in chaos and euphoria, glitter, camp (or brega), rebolation, bate cabelo (hairography), funk and Brazilian popular music as well as original songs, parodies and queering and dragging all the straight edges BRag can find. We have a full Brazilian lineup with liliththequing alicetheequeen rozalia.sabatto & italodisc0. Be prepared for a tale about much more than deep cleaning. It’s about love, heartbreak, politics and so much more.
