About this event

An event for queer adoptive and foster families from Brandenburg and Berlin, as well as those planning to become one. The gathering provides a space to meet, get to know, and discuss with other queer adoptive and foster parents. Topics include current family situations, communication with children about family, positive and negative experiences, and daily challenges as queer families. Children are welcome to join, with activities available at the AWO Eltern-Kind-Zentrum in Potsdam, including a large playroom, a collection of toys, and outdoor play options. Participants are encouraged to bring a small contribution for brunch, with coffee, tea, and water provided. The event aims to foster community and support among queer families.
