She will discuss motivations behind food justice initiatives in South Central Los Angeles and explore themes of privilege, structural inequalities, and envisioning a liberatory future. Dr. Nicole Labruto will join the conversation. The event is open to the public and will be held in person at Bird in Hand Coffee & Books, Baltimore, MD.
