An in-person event featuring Dr. Hanna Garth, Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Princeton University, discussing her book 'Food Justice Undone: Lessons for Building a Better Movement'. Drawing on twelve years of ethnographic research, Garth examines motivations behind food justice interventions in South Central Los Angeles and explores issues of privilege, promise, and envisioning a radical future. Dr. Nicole Labruto will join the conversation. The event is part of the Vital Perspectives on Healthcare and Science series and is open to the public.
