Drum Making Workshop & Ceremony with Mia Luz

Join Mia Luz for a sacred drum-making workshop and ceremony on April 11, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00. Participants will create their own medicine drum, choosing from 14", 16", or 18" round horse-hide drums with salvaged yellow cedar frames. The workshop emphasizes honoring the animal spirit, the journey, and the gift of life, fostering deep awareness and spiritual connection. The event includes a ceremonial process, guided by sacred traditions and the medicine wheel, culminating in a drumming transmission passed over each newly born drum. All materials are included, and participants will leave with their handmade drum and a Mallet.
