The multi-talented powerhouse Janaye Henry will be performing at the Sunset Variety Show at Out of the Gutter. Janaye Henry (Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa) is a comedian, writer, actor and theatre-maker residing in Tāmaki Makaurau with a deep passion for creating work that connects with young people. She has spent the past decade crafting stories across stage and screen that are funny, political, accessible and joy-filled. Janaye self-defines as “a clown by nature, comedian by nurture,” and is known for using humour as a tool to make complex or confusing topics easier to understand. She is proudly a lesbalina, otherwise known as a lesbian and cannot wait to see you all in the square.
