On July 15, 2026, join us at MODA in Atlanta for a full-day in-person event exploring the origins and influence of Atlanta's hip-hop culture. Led by scholar Dr. Regina Bradley, the morning session will delve into how Atlanta shaped the sound that changed the world, featuring insights into OutKast, Dungeon Family, and trap music. In the afternoon, designer Sarah Lawrence will guide participants through creating a historical marker for iconic Atlanta hip-hop sites like The Dungeon and Stankonia Studios, highlighting the cultural significance of these places. The event includes lunch, costs $300, and proceeds support summer Design Camp scholarships for youth.
