About this event
Join us on June 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) for 'Design Recess,' a day dedicated to playful and deliberate creative practice. This in-person event encourages participants to embrace imperfection, engage in absurd design challenges, and unlock new ideas through fun, improvisation, and community. Led by Eve Krueger and MODA's creative team, the camp aims to help you rediscover your inner creative, laugh at yourself, and leave inspired and ready for anything. The event includes activities like secret handshakes, absurd design briefs, and a Design Improv session. Lunch is included, and proceeds support summer Design Camp scholarships for youth. Come prepared to be terrible at things and have a great time.
