Gay Swim Amsterdam (GSA) is a welcoming LGBTQIA+ sports club centered on swimming . Since its founding in 1995, it has grown to around 120 members who train at all levels. Members swim in pools and organize open-water swims in Amsterdam’s canals and lakes. The club focuses on technique and fitness, and also hosts social events and gatherings to build community both in and out of the water.

BABYGAYS Amsterdam is the city’s first queer women’s field hockey team . They train weekly and play matches and tournaments, with the goal of providing an inclusive and safe environment for queer and trans women and non-binary players to enjoy their sport. The team welcomes all skill levels. BABYGAYS identify as trans- and non-binary inclusive and emphasize community, ending each year by competing in the EuroGames (Europe’s largest queer multi-sport event) .
