The Fogueres de Sant Joan is a traditional festival celebrated in Alicante, Spain, from June 19 to 24. It involves the creation and burning of artistic bonfires called 'Fogueres,' which critique societal, political, and economic issues. The festival includes parades, fireworks, street parties, and the burning of elaborate monuments, culminating in the 'Cremà' on June 24. It was declared a Fiesta of International Tourist Interest in 1983 and a Bien de Interés Cultural in 2014.
